Henderson State Women's Golf Picked to Repeat as GAC Champs

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference released the 2025 women's golf preseason coaches poll on Tuesday. For the sixth consecutive year, Henderson State has been selected to win the conference after receiving nine of 11 first place votes.

Last season, the Reddies won their fifth consecutive conference championship, placed second in the NCAA Central Regional, and finished tenth in the country at the Division II Championship. Henderson placed two players on the All-GAC team, All-Central Region team, and NCAA All-America team, including the fourth consecutive GAC Player of the Year in Felisa Sajulga.

The 2025-26 team features two returners: two-time All-American Lily Nelson and Paulina Narvaez. Newcomers Hailey Coleman, Isabella Ferreira, Ayers Finley, and Lora Jones look to compete for early season lineup spots.

Henderson State starts their season Tuesday, September 2, when they head to Blue Springs, Missouri for the Central Region Fall Preview at Adams Pointe Golf Club. The two day tournament will be hosted by Oklahoma Baptist University.
