After having last Thursday's game with Harding postponed, the two teams will meet Monday night when the Reddies play host to the Bisons with tipoff set for 7 p.m. at the Duke Wells Center.
During pre-game warm-ups on Thursday, issues with the game clock and scoreboard forced officials to postpone the game. Within 24 hours, repairs were made and the coaches and administration from both institutions agreed to play Monday.
The game will be sponsored by the Reddie Bookstore and there will be no admission charged for the game.
Henderson State enters the game with a 10-13 record overall and a 6-9 mark in GAC play after a 58-56 loss to Arkansas Tech on Saturday.
Six Reddies are averaging in double-figures led by
Deoirvay Johnson who is averaging 13.5 points.
After scoring 11 points on Saturday, Taylor Smith is averaging 11.6 points per game and leads the GAC in 3-point shooting hitting on 50 percent of his attempts (38-of-76).
Kevin Kozan scored 13 points against Arkansas Tech to lead the Reddies on Saturday, and now averages 10.0 points per game.
Harding improved to 12-9 on the season and 9-6 in the GAC after Saturday's 81-64 win over Ouachita Baptist.
Hayden Johnson leads the Bisons in scoring and rebounding, averaging 17.2 points and 5.5 rebounds per contest. Johnson scored 24 points on Saturday against the Tigers.
In the first meeting, Henderson State could not overcome a 58 percent shooting performance by the Bisons as Harding beat the Reddies 89-71.
The Bisons dominated the boards in that game, out-rebounding the Reddies 39 to 24.
Henderson State leads the all-time series having a 72-39 advantage in a series which began in 1957.
