GAC Announces Men's Basketball All-Conference Awards

2025-26 All-GAC Honors

FORT SMITH, Ark. — Five Henderson State men's basketball players were recognized at the 2025-26 GAC Basketball All-Conference Awards on Wednesday. Zaveion Okoh was named to the honorable mention team, and five players were named to the GAC Academic Honor Roll

Okoh led the Reddies in scoring with 14.5 points per game, which was fifth-best in the conference. He also led the team in minutes played, field goals and three-point field goals made, and steals. The junior's 49 steals and 1.9 steals per game each ranked fourth in the conference.

Additionally, Grey Garrison, Jameel Wesley II, Tyson Whybrew, KJ Sykes, and Jabari West were named to the GAC Academic Honor Roll, an honor reserved for students with at least a 3.5 grade point average and one or more years of full-time residency.

HSU holds the No. 8 Seed in the 2026 GAC Tournament and is set to face No. 1 Seed Oklahoma Baptist in a first-round matchup on Thursday, March 5th. The game is slated to tip off at Fort Smith's Northside Arena at 5:45 p.m.
