Henderson State will attempt to record the series sweep over Southeastern Oklahoma as the Reddies face the Savage Storm on Saturday at 3 p.m. in Durant, Okla.

Both teams are coming off losses on Thursday as the Reddie fell to East Central 58-46, while SOSU lost to Ouachita Baptist 76-64.

Henderson will look to win for the second time against SOSU as the Reddies earned an 87-61 win on December 5.

Against East Central, the Reddies shot just 30.5 percent from the field having their lowest scoring output of the season.

Henderson ranks 11th in the GAC in scoring offense averaging 67.7 points per game, but leads the league defensively allowing 71.3 points per contest.

Kaylon Tappin leads the Reddies in scoring averaging 13.5 points per contest while shooting 43 percent from the field. Tappin was limited to 6 points against ECU.

Kevin Kozan follows averaging 13.1 points per contest. Kozan led the Reddies in the first game against SOSU scoring 20 points.

Alouine Mboup scored 13 points and grabbed 5 rebounds on Thursday and now averages 5.5 points per game and a team-best 5.4 rebounds along with 25 blocks.

Southeastern Oklahoma enters the game with a 7-13 record overall and a 5-9 mark in GAC play.

Anton Cook leads the scoring at 16.3 ppg while shooting 43.5 percent from the floor and 39.5 percent from long range. Cook totaled 13 points back in December against Henderson.

Sami Bzai is on his heels at 15.4 ppg and is one of the league's better sharpshooters with 2.7 threes made per game while shooting 42.0 percent from behind the arc. Bzai scored a team-best 19 points in the first game against the Reddies.

Nathan Jackson joins the duo in double-figures and is averaging 10.2 ppg while shooting 56.3 percent from the floor. Jackson is versatile as he also leads the team in rebounding with 5.9 boards per contest.

Henderson leads the all-time series with the SOSU having an 11-6 advantage in a series which dates back to 1970. The Reddies have won three of the last four meetings including an 87-61 win earlier this year. HSU has a 2-5 record in games played in Durant having lost five straight.
