Henderson State returns home Saturday as the Reddies play host to Harding with tipoff set for 3 p.m.
 
It will be Pediatric Cancer Awareness Day at the Duke Wells Center with the Reddies sporting gold socks in support of the "GO 4 THE GOAL" Foundation. Donation buckets will be located at the main gates.
 
Saturday's game features one of top shooting 3-point teams in the country as the Bisons average 10.4 trifectas per game while the Reddies rank second nationally in 3-point field goal defense.
           
Henderson will attempt to end a three-game losing skid following Thursday's 83-69 loss to Arkansas Tech. The Reddies enter the game with an 11-5 record overall and a 6-4 mark in league play and are tied for third in the GAC.

Henderson needs to improve on its 62.0 points per game over the last three contests. The Reddies have shot just 39 percent in those games and 27 percent from the perimeter.
 
Kaylon Tappin scored 12 points against ATU on Thursday and is averaging 16.6 points per game.           

Kevin Kozan moved into 18th-place in HSU history in career scoring with his 12 points against Tech. Kozan averages 11.0 points and needs just three 3-point field goals to move into second all-time in GAC history. The senior from New Lenox, Ill. has made 229 3-pointers during his career. 

Chris Hawkins is also scoring in double-figures averaging 12.4 points and a team-best 6.7 rebounds per contest.
           
Harding is coming off an impressive 84-61 win over Southern Arkansas on Thursday improving the Bisons record to 9-5 overall and 6-4 in GAC play.
In the win over SAU, Harding shot 34 times from 3-point range, making 12 with Will Francis hitting 5-of-8 shots from beyond the arc.
           
As a team, Harding averages 77.9 points per game while allowing 73.1 points per contest. The Bisons lead the GAC in 3-point field goals made with 133 trifectas averaging 10.4 per game while shooting 39 percent.          

Tim Wagner led the Bisons in scoring on Thursday with 22 points. The junior from Galesville, Wisc. leads Harding averaging 18.7 points per game which ranks fourth in the GAC. The team's top free throw shooter, Wagner has converted on 63-of-73 attempts from the charity stripe for 86 percent.
           
Stefan Andelkovic recorded a double-double against the Muleriders, scoring 11 points while pulling down 11 rebounds. A senior from Vlasoticne Serbia, Andelkovic averages 14.4 points per game and is Harding's top rebounder at 5.7 caroms per contest.

Francis averages 13.3 points per game but is one of the best perimeter shooters in the nation. The senior from Searcy ranks second in the GAC in 3-point field goals made with 48 trifectas and is shooting a league-best 56 percent from long range which also ranks second nationally.

Henderson leads the all-time series over Harding having a 73-45 advantage.      

The Bisons have won the last five meetings including a 93-86 double-overtime win in the GAC Tournament Championship in 2014.      

Henderson holds a 39-15 lead in games played in Arkadelphia, while Harding has an 8-3 record against the Reddies since the two teams became part of the Great American Conference.        

Saturday's double-header will be carried on 106.9 FM KYXK Arkadelphia/Gurdon with Robbie Aaron providing the play-by-play. Former Reddie player and coach Grady Bean will provide the color commentary.
 
The Domino's pregame show will air 12:45 p.m. with the women's game set for 1 p.m.
