Henderson State will take on the hottest team in the Great American Conference as the Reddies face Arkansas Tech on Saturday with the tip-off set for 3 p.m. at the Duke Wells Center.

The game will be the final home game of the season for Henderson with four student-athletes being honored prior to the game including
Jordan Vance,
Jacob Vance,
Chris Hawkins and
Kevin Kozan.

HSU enters the contest with a 14-11 record overall and a 9-10 in the GAC. The Reddies are tied for seventh in the league standing with three games remaining in the regular season. Henderson's magic number to make the GAC Tournament is two which can be achieved by a combination of Reddie wins or Northwestern Oklahoma losses.
Kozan will look to have another big game following his career-high 25 points against Harding on Thursday. Kozan ranks 15th in HSU history in scoring with 1206 points. The senior from New Lenox, Ill. is averaging 11.4 points per game this season.     Â
Chris Hawkins also had a big game against Harding scoring 22 points while pulling down 8 rebounds. Hawkins is scoring 12.7 points per game including averaging 13.4 points in the second rotation of the GAC schedule.     Â
Kaylon Tappin scored 12 points in the first meeting against Arkansas Tech and continues to lead the Reddies in scoring averaging 15.1 points per game. Tappin has scored in double-figures in 19 games including the last four.

Arkansas Tech is 19-4 on the season and 15-4 in GAC play after Thursday's
92-86 win over Arkansas-Monticello. The Wonder Boys have won 10 straight and are tied for first-place in the GAC.

Arkansas Tech leads the league in scoring averaging 88.8 points per game. However, the Wonder Boys are last in scoring defense allowing opponents 81.7 points per contest. ATU also leads the GAC and ranks fourth nationally in 3-point field goals per game making 12.2 treys per game.

Justin Graham leads Tech averaging 14.2 points per game while dishing out 5.3 assists per game which ranks second in the league. Graham is one of three players for Tech thank rank in the top 10 in 3-point field goal percentage having made 50 percent from beyond the arc (36-of-72). Graham had 10 points and 4 assists in the first game against Henderson.

Alex Brown is averaging 14.1 points per contest and has sunk 53-of-128 shots from the perimeter for 41 percent accuracy.
Also a big 3-point threat is Grant Prusator who leads the team with 61 treys on 148 attempts for 41 percent shooting. Prusator scored a season-high 24 points in the first game against Henderson, making 6-of-9 three-point field goals.

Henderson leads the all-time series with an 82-78 advantage. ATU has won the 17 of the last 20 meetings including an 83-69 win earlier this year in Russellville.
The Reddies have won the last two years in games played in the Duke Wells Center.
