ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - Henderson State plays its final non-conference game of the year on Tuesday night when the Reddies host Oklahoma Panhandle State at 8 p.m. in the Duke Wells Center.
REDDIES REPORT
- Henderson State (5-2, 1-1) got a split to begin its conference season last week when the Reddies picked up a win over Arkansas Tech in Russellville 80-79 on Saturday afternoon.
- HSU trailed for most of the second half against ATU but got a three-point-play from
Rel Johnson with 10.5 seconds remaining and then forced a stop in the last seconds to hold on for its first GAC victory. The win was Henderson's third-straight over the Wonder Boys.
- The matchup on Tuesday against Oklahoma Panhandle State is the final non-conference game of the season for the Reddies. A win would give HSU a 5-1 record for the year against non-conference opponents. Tuesday's game is the first meeting between Henderson and Oklahoma Panhandle since the 1983-84 season. The Aggies won the first, and only, contest 79-70.
- The Reddies have three players who are averaging double figures in points: Johnson (13.9 points per game),
Chris Parker (12.6 points per game), and
Anthony Lupardus (11.5 points per game).

Raekwon Rogers was the only player for HSU to score in double figures against both Southern Arkansas and Arkansas Tech last week. Rogers averaged 12 points and 7 rebounds per game in the two matchups.
- Oklahoma Panhandle is Henderson's first opponent from the state of Oklahoma this year. The Reddies have not faced an opponent from the Sooner State since Feb. 20 against ECU.
SCOUTING OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE
- Oklahoma Panhandle State is 6-2 on the year and 1-1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference (NAIA) entering Tuesday's game.
- The Aggies have four players who average 14 or more points per game. Breiman Alexander leads the team with 28.8 points per game and Alan Hodge Jr. is chipping in 20.5 points. Alexander has hit 32 3-pointers this year and is shooting 91.3 percent at the free throw line (21-for-23).
- OKPU has only played one other DII opponent so far this season, which came on Nov. 24 at Tarleton State. The Aggies fell to the Texans 94-70 in exhibition action.
-Panhandle has hit 10 or more 3-pointers in five games already this season. The Aggies hit a season-high 14 against Arlington Baptist.
