ARKADELPHIA, Ark. -- Henderson State will look to improve to 2-1 in the Great American Conference on Saturday afternoon when the Reddies host Harding in their first GAC home game of the year at 3 p.m. in the Duke Wells Center.

REDDIES REPORT
- Henderson State (6-2, 1-1) is searching for its third-straight win on Saturday against Harding, which would also be the Reddies' third-consecutive victory over the Bisons. HSU swept Harding for the first time since 2005-06 last season.

- The Reddies cruised past Oklahoma Panhandle State on Tuesday night behind 58 points in the paint and 31 points off of turnovers. HSU opened the second half on a 32-7 run to put the Aggies away. All 12 players who got into the game scored, including five who finished with double figures.

- HSU's depth has been on display so far this season. Henderson has 10 players who currently average 10 or more minutes per game and nine players who are scoring 5.5 or more points per contest. Three players are scoring in double figures for the Reddies: Rel Johnson (13.9 points per game), Chris Parker (11.9 points per game), and Anthony Lupardus (11.3 points per game).

- Henderson is fourth in the GAC in scoring defense, allowing just 71.5 points per game to opponents and boasts a scoring margin of +10.5, which is the third-best mark of any team in the conference. HSU also ranks second in the league in turnover margin (+2.88).

- The matchup is the 124th all-time meeting between Henderson State and Harding. The first contest, which HSU won 79-53, was played in 1957-58. The Reddies lead the series 78-45.

SCOUTING HARDING
- Harding enters Saturday's contest 4-3 on the season and 2-0 in the GAC after defeating Arkansas-Monticello and Southern Arkansas in the opening weekend of conference play. The Bisons' two GAC wins came by a combined three points, as they beat UAM 65-63 in overtime and then slipped past SAU 75-74.

- Three newcomers are leading the way for the Bisons offensively. Transfer guard JV Long, formerly of DII Cameron University, leads the Bisons in scoring, rebounding, and assists so far this season. The senior scored 28 points against Christian Brothers and 21 in Harding's win over SAU. True freshman forward Gabriel Divic of Croatia averages just under 12 points per game and has scored in double figures four times, while junior DI transfer Colin Hale, who came to Harding from Texas A&M Corpus-Christi, is scoring 10.6 points per game.

- Bisons' head coach Jeff Morgan is the longest-tenured coach in the GAC and has won 421 games in 26 seasons at Harding.
