Henderson State will attempt to end a 10-game road losing skid to Arkansas Tech as the Reddies travel to Russellville, Ark. to take on the Wonder Boys in a key GAC contest on Saturday with tip-off set for 3 p.m. at Tucker Coliseum. ATU has won 10 straight games over the Reddies on its home court.

The Reddies, 12-12 overall and 7-11 in league play, are coming off a tough 91-84 overtime loss to Arkansas-Monticello on Thursday.Â

In the loss to UAM,
Matt Panaggio scored a season-best 17 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Panaggio, who has averaged 10.6 points per game in the last five contests, is averaging 7.0 points and 4.1 boards per game for the season.

Chris Parker scored 15 points against UAM and is averaging 13.9 points. The true freshman from Plano, Texas has averaged 16.3 points in the last six games. In the first game against ATU, Parker scored 16 points and was 10-of-12 from the foul line.Â
Kaylon Tappin totaled 25 points earlier this year against the Wonder Boys. Henderson's leading scorer at 18.3 points per game, the senior from Little Rock has averaged just 11 points in the last three games.

Josh Jones is averaging 14.2 points per game after compiling 16 points on Thursday against UAM. The Memphis native scored 20 points and pulled down 7 rebounds in the first game this year against Arkansas Tech.    Â

Arkansas Tech enters the contest with a 15-9 overall record and a 9-9 mark in the GAC play.

ATU leads the GAC in scoring averaging 86.4 points per game including 83.2 against GAC competition. The Wonder Boys are tops in 3-point field goals made, knocking down 11.7 per contest. Defensively, the team is 11th in the league allowing 82.7 points per game.

Freshman R.J. Glasper leads the team in scoring averaging 19.1 points including scoring double-figures in 22 of 23 games. The transfer from the University of Arkansas scored 13 points in the first game against HSU.

Montrell Williams averages 13.2 points along with 6.5 rebounds per contest. Williams scored 8 points with 11 rebounds earlier against the Reddies.

Alex Brown is also a big scoring threat averaging 13.1 points while shooting 36 percent from beyond the arc hitting on 43-of-120 attempts. Brown scored 20 points on 9-of-15 shooting in the first game against Henderson.

Henderson State leads the all-time series against Arkansas Tech having an 83-79 advantage. The Wonder Boys have won 18 of the last 21 meetings.  Henderson last won in Tucker Coliseum on Feb. 2, 2007 when the Reddies won 66-42.     Â
