Henderson State's will play its final game of the year as the Reddies travel to Searcy, Ark. to take on Harding on Saturday with tip-off set for 7:30 p.m. at the Rhodes Fieldhouse.
Kaylon Tappin will be attempting to become the 15th player in HSU history to score 500 points in a season with the Little Rock product needing just nine points. Tappin would also be the 11th player at HSU to record 500 points in a year and 1000 points during a career.     Â
Tappin is fifth in the GAC in scoring averaging 18.2 points per game. The senior guard scored 26 points in the first game against Harding.
Chris Parker has scored in double-figures in the last seven games including 20 or more points three times. During those seven games, the freshman from Plano, Texas has averaged 19.3 points per game to run his season average to 14.6 points.

Josh Jones has averaged double-figures all year scoring 13.9 points per game. The junior from Memphis shoots 41 percent from the perimeter connecting on 51-of-124 3-pointers.      Â
Harding is averaging 70.0 points per game which ranks last in the GAC, while allowing 79.8 points per contest. Â
Tim Wagner leads the team in scoring averaging 14.2 points per game and also leads the team in 3-point shooting having made 68 of 168 attempts for 41 percent shooting from beyond the arc. The senior from Galesville, Wisc. scored 18 points in the first game against the Reddies.

Reggie Anthony follows at 9.5 points per contest while leading the team in assists with 88. In the first meeting against Henderson, the junior from Memphis scored 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field.

Henderson will also have to contend with Zac Ward who scored 15 points back in January against HSU. Ward currently averages 9.2 points per game.
Henderson State leads the all-time series against Harding having a 74-47 advantage. Â Â
Harding has won seven of the last eight games against the Reddies.        Â
Henderson has lost four straight to the Bisons at Rhodes Fieldhouse. The Reddies last road win was a 70-68 victory on Feb. 14, 2013.    Â
