ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - Henderson State takes on Southeastern Oklahoma on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in its second-to-last game of the regular season.

REDDIES REPORT
- Henderson (17-9, 12-8) got off to a great start on its Oklahoma road trip last weekend by crushing SWOSU 104-78 but was tripped up on Saturday by NWOSU 69-54. Thursday was the Reddies' highest-scoring game of the season and was followed by its lowest scoring game of the year on Saturday.

- The Reddies have clinched their spot in the GAC Tournament in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, next week, but are in a fight for seeding along with several other teams. Spots No. 2 thru No. 7 in the conference standings are currently separated by just two games. HSU is currently alone in sixth place but trails three teams tied for third at 13-7 by just one game.

- HSU picked up arguably its biggest win of the year in its first meeting with SOSU back on Dec. 18 in Durant, Oklahoma. The Reddies defeated the Savage Storm 80-65 in what turned out to be Southeastern's only home loss of the 2018-19 season.

- Henderson has seven players who average eight or more points per game this year, including three who average double figures. Rel Johnson leads the team in scoring (12.5 points per game), while Chris Parker and Joshua Jones average 12.2 and 11.5 points per game, respectively.

- As a team, the Reddies are second in the GAC in field goal percentage defense and hold opponents to just a 41.5 percent shooting clip from the floor. HSU is also the second-best offensive rebounding team in the league and averages 12.9 offensive boards per game.

SCOUTING SOUTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA
- Southeastern Oklahoma State is one of the hottest teams in the GAC and comes into Thursday night's contest 18-6 on the season and 14-6 in conference play. The Savage Storm have won their last six games in a row and nine of their last 10 overall. SOSU has beaten league champion Southern Nazarene twice this year.

- The Savage Storm are led by one of the best players in the league in forward Kevin Buckingham, who averages 20.2 points and 9.5 rebounds per game this season. Buckingham leads the GAC in rebounding and is shooting 60.4 percent from the floor this year. Guard Jett Jobe scores 13.1 points per contest and is second in the conference with just under six assists per game.

- SOSU is third in the GAC in scoring offense (79.1 points per game) and second in field goal percentage (46.9 percent shooting). The Savage Storm share the ball incredibly well and lead the conference in assists (370) and assists per game (18.5).
