LIVE COVERAGE LINKS | GAME NOTES

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Henderson State plays in its final non conference game of the season on Monday when it travels to Texas to take on Dallas Baptist at 3 p.m.

REDDIES REPORT
- The Reddies got a dominant win over Harding on Saturday evening in Searcy, Arkansas. HSU shot 53.5% in the second half, and limited the Bisons to 29% shooting for the game, to roll to a comfortable 71-49 win. The victory improved Henderson to 6-3 overall and 3-1 in GAC play.

- Malik Riddle led HSU with 18 points against the Bisons — 16 of which came in the second half. Riddle was 7-of-10 from the floor and is now averaging a team-high 11 points per game this season. Tomislav Miholjcic also had a strong game against Harding and finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds to notch the first double-double of his career.

- The calling card for Henderson so far this season has been defense. HSU leads the league in 3-point field goal percentage defense (24.7%) and steals (11.5 per game). The Reddies are No. 2 in the GAC in scoring defense (61.2 points per game), field goal percentage defense (41.3%) and turnover margin (+3.25).

- Henderson has played four non-conference games this year against NCAA DII opponents and is 2-2 in those contests. The Reddies dropped matchups with Winona State and Arkansas-Fort Smith, but defeated Missouri Western in the season's opening weekend in Kansas City and Pittsburg State in Arkadelphia.

- Monday will be the first matchup between the two teams in over a decade. The last meeting came in 2010, when DBU defeated the Reddies 85-65 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. This is the fifth game all-time between the two programs and the series is tied 2-2.

SCOUTING DALLAS BAPTIST
- The Patriots are 6-4 overall this season and have yet to play a Lone Star Conference game. DBU is 4-3 at home and is coming off of a 30-point victory over Southwestern Oklahoma State on Saturday afternoon.

- DBU has a remarkable balanced attack offensively and boasts five different players that average just over 10 points per game. As a team, the Patriots have a +4.6 turnover margin, but have been hurt on the glass and carry a rebounding margin of -6.9. They have been out-rebounded in every game this year.

- The Reddies will be the fifth GAC opponent DBU has faced already this year. Dallas Baptist previously defeated East Central and SWOSU, but fell to Southern Arkansas and Southern Nazarene.

- Dallas Baptist has been a powerhouse at the Division II level in recent years. The Patriots have made the NCAA Tournament in each of the last four seasons and won 20-plus games from 2015-20 prior to the COVID-shortened campaign.
