ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Henderson State travels to Searcy, Arkansas on Saturday looking for its second win of the week when it faces Harding at 6 p.m. in the Rhodes-Reaves Fieldhouse.

REDDIES REPORT
- Henderson took a tough loss on Thursday night when it fell to UAM 82-76 at home in overtime. The Reddies held the Weevils to just one basket and five total points in the last eight minutes of regulation to force overtime, but UAM used an 11-2 run in the extra period to pull away and win it. Of HSU's seven losses this season, six have come to UAM and Southern Arkansas.

- Quawn Marshall had by far his best game of the year, and one of the best games of his career, in defeat for HSU. The senior from Little Rock scored a career-high 22 points on 7-of-15 shooting and was 7-for-7 at the free throw line. Marshall, who has battled injury at times this season, leads the team in assists (3.2 per game).

- As a team, Henderson is second in the GAC in field goal percentage defense (41.2%) and fifth in scoring defense (71.0). The Reddies are one of the top rebounding squads in the league and rank second in the conference in rebounding margin (+4.7) and rebounds per game (37.9). HSU has out-rebounded its opponent eight times this year and only lost the rebounding battle in three games.

- Turnovers have plagued HSU so far this year. Henderson is 10th in the GAC in turnover margin (-2.25) and 11th in assist to turnover ratio (0.7). The Reddies have won the turnover battle just twice this season and have not done so since Jan. 9 at Arkansas Tech.

- The Reddies have come up short in their last two trips to the Rhodes-Reaves Fieldhouse, and fell by nearly identical scores: 89-79 earlier this season and 89-77 in Searcy last year. Harding was red-hot from 3-point range in both of those games and made 25 total 3-pointers in the two wins compared to just 12 for HSU.

SCOUTING HARDING
- Entering Friday, Harding is 3-6 overall and in GAC play this season. Since defeating Henderson on Jan. 14 to move to 2-0, the Bisons are just 1-6 and have not won won a home game at the Rhodes-Reaves Fieldhouse.

- One of the Bisons' biggest additions in the offseason was guard Ramiro Santiago, who has been fantastic for Harding in his first year on campus. Santiago leads HU in scoring (19.0 points per game) and is shooting 48.1% from the field. He had one of his best games of the year in the first meeting with HSU, where he scored 24 points and hit five 3-pointers.

- Harding has been a very high scoring team this season and ranks third in the league in scoring offense (76.3 points per game). Where the Bisons have struggled, however, is on the defensive end of the floor. HU ranks 12th in the GAC in scoring defense (81.1), 11th in field goal percentage defense (46.8%) and 10th in 3-point field goal percentage defense (38.2%).
