ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Henderson State will go for a season sweep of Arkansas Tech on Saturday afternoon when the Reddies host the Wonder Boys at 4 p.m. inside the Duke Wells Center.

REDDIES REPORT
- Henderson leads the GAC and is No. 21 in the country in field goal percentage defense (40.9%). The Reddies have held five of their last eight opponents to a field goal percentage of under 40%. Arkansas Tech has shot 24% and 32.3% from the field in two of its matchups with HSU this season.

- Raekwon Rogers continues to stuff the stat sheet for the Reddies in 2021. The Little Rock native averages 13.1 points and 8.2 rebounds per game on 57.7% shooting. Rogers is 20th in the GAC in scoring, fourth in rebounding, second in field goal percentage, second in offensive rebounding (3.2 per game) and eighth in blocks (1.0 per game).

- The Reddies committed a season-low 11 turnovers in their win over Harding last Saturday and forced a season-high 25 turnovers by the Bisons. The victory was the first time since Jan. 9 that HSU won the turnover battle with its opponent. Henderson is 2-1 when committing less turnovers than its opponent and 4-6 when it commits more.

- HSU has established itself as one of the best rebounding teams in the conference this season. The Reddies are No. 1 in the GAC in rebounds per game (38.2) among squads who have played at least 10 games, and second in the league in rebounding margin (+5.2). Henderson has won the rebounding battle nine times this season and only lost it in three games.

- After hitting a season-best 14 3-pointers against Ouachita Baptist, Henderson is just 22-for-85 from beyond the arc (25.8%) in its six games since. The Reddies have managed to overcome the cold shooting from the outside, however, and are 3-3 in those contests. HSU was +31 in rebounding during that six-game stretch.

SCOUTING ARKANSAS TECH
- Arkansas Tech enters the Duke Wells Center on Saturday afternoon 6-7 overall and 4-7 in GAC action. The Wonder Boys have lost two-straight games and four of their last five overall, which includes a 61-53 home loss to Henderson State on Feb. 4. Tech has won just one road contest in 2021, which came on Jan. 25 in double overtime at Harding.

- Tech ranks fifth in the GAC in team field goal percentage (44%) and fifth in field goal percentage defense (42.5%). ATU is a fantastic passing team and leads the conference in assists per game (15.1). Arkansas Tech is also one of the best 3-point shooting teams in the league (37.3%) but the Wonder Boys have struggled from beyond the arc in three meetings with HSU and shot just 30.3% from the outside (22-for-89).

- The Wonder Boys have struggled against HSU in recent years. The Reddies have won eight of the last nine meetings between the two programs and all three matchups this season. Tech's last win in Arkadelphia came on Feb. 18, 2017.
