ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — After a full week off, Henderson State gets back to action on Thursday night when it meets Arkansas Tech for the third time this season at 7:30 p.m. in Russellville, Arkansas.

REDDIES REPORT
- The Reddies have had nearly a week go by since their last outing, a 73-57 loss on the road to Eastern Division leader Arkansas-Monticello. Cold second half shooting sank Henderson in that contest, as it was just 8-of-25 from the floor in the final 20 minutes.

- Malik Riddle currently leads HSU in scoring (15.1 points per game) while Raekwon Rogers has also played well for the Reddies so far this year and is averaging 13.1 points and 9.3 rebounds per game on 55.7% shooting from the floor. As of Thursday's contest, they are the only two Henderson players averaging double figures. The Reddies have four other players averaging eight or more points per game.

- Henderson is in the top half of the GAC in scoring offense (75.1 points per game), scoring defense (73.6 points allowed), scoring margin (+1.5), and team field goal percentage (44% shooting). HSU remains one of the top rebounding teams in the league and sits second in both rebounds per game (39.6) and rebounding margin (+5.9).

- Turnovers have hurt the Reddies, who are near the bottom of the conference in turnover margin (-2.75) and assist to turnover ratio (0.7). HSU has lost the turnover battle in six-straight games heading into Thursday night's contest in Russellville and has committed 22 more turnovers than its opponents this year.

- Thursday night is the third matchup this season between the Reddies and Arkansas Tech. HSU has played Tech more than any other opponent so far this season. Henderson won the first two matchups 70-44 in Russellville and 82-78 in Arkadelphia. Two of ATU's three losses on the year have come to the Reddies. HSU has controlled the series with the Wonder Boys in recent times and has won seven of the last eight meetings.

SCOUTING ARKANSAS TECH
- Arkansas Tech enters Thursday's contest 5-3 on the year and 3-3 in GAC play. The Wonder Boys last two games have produced overtime victories, 65-64 over UAM and 109-105 over Harding. ATU has not played since Jan. 25 and its last three contests have been canceled due to COVID-19 protocols.

- Freshman guard Ceejay Mann has been fantastic for Tech in his first college season. Mann leads the team in scoring (14.3 points per game) and assists (4.1 per game). The Alma, Arkansas native is shooting 43.3% from the 3-point line and has scored 17 or more points in four-straight games for ATU.

- Tech ranks near the top of the GAC in field goal percentage defense (41.2%) and 3-point field goal percentage defense (29.7%). The Wonder Boys also share the ball well and lead the conference in assists per game (16.4). ATU's achilles heel has been turnovers. Tech has turned the ball over more than any team in the league (141).
