Henderson Men Look to Rebound at SNU Thursday

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Henderson State and Southern Nazarene meet for the second time in four days on Thursday when the Reddies travel to Bethany, Oklahoma for the 7:30 p.m. tip. 

REDDIES REPORT
- HSU erased a 13-point halftime deficit in Monday's contest and took a 46-45 lead with less than five minutes to play, but SNU finished the game on an 11-4 run to defeat the Reddies 56-50. The loss stopped a four-game winning streak for Henderson, who remained in third-place in the GAC standings. 

- The Reddies have attacked the glass in recent games and have racked up 116 offensive rebounds in conference (10.5 per game), which ranks second in the league. HSU is grabbing 29.5% of all offensive rebound opportunities this season.

- Henderson continues to lead the GAC in field goal percentage defense (41.4%), 3-point field goal percentage defense (29.6%) and steals (99 total). HSU ranks second in the conference in turnover margin (+2.5) and third in scoring defense (64 points per game).

- Tomislav Miholjcic has scored in double figures in three-straight games after finishing with 10 points against the Crimson Storm on Monday. Miholjcic, Malik Riddle, Alvin Miles and Xavier Davenport are the only Reddies this season who have scored in double figures in three-straight games or more.

- HSU's last trip to the Sawyer Center was an eventful one, as the Reddies defeated the Crimson Storm 60-57 last season in the GAC Tournament quarterfinals. Henderson trailed 52-43 with just over six minutes remaining, but closed the game on a 17-5 run to advance. It was the first win for the Reddies in Bethany since 2015. HSU is just 2-8 in its last 10 meetings with SNU overall.

SCOUTING SOUTHERN NAZARENE
- With its 56-50 win over the Reddies on Monday, Southern Nazarene extended its winning streak to a league-best seven games, which includes six-straight conference wins. After starting GAC play 0-4, the Crimson Storm are now 6-4 and in fourth-place in the league standings at the halfway point of the regular season.

- SNU's leading scorer, Tyler McGhie, had a big night on Monday and finished with 17 points to lead all scorers. The freshman transfer from Western Carolina has scored in double figures in seven of the eight games he has played this season for the Crimson Storm and is shooting just under 44% from beyond the arc. 

- The Crimson Storm's defense has been excellent of late. In its last five wins, SNU's opponents are shooting a combined 37% from the floor (92-for-262). Southern Nazarene ranks second in the GAC in scoring defense (63.9 points per game).
