ARKADELPHIA, Ark. - Henderson State will play its second home game of the week when it welcomes Bacone College to the Duke Wells Center in what will be HSU's final non-conference home game of the season. The Reddies and the Warriors tip-off Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 4 p.m.

REDDIES REPORT
Henderson State is coming off its sixth largest margin of victory in program history with a 114-60 win over Lyon College Thursday night and the biggest point spread since the 2002-03 season. The Reddies' 114 points was the highest scoring game in regulation since Nov. 18, 2019. As a team, Henderson shot 65.2 percent (43-of-66) on the evening, marking the red-and-gray's highest single-game field-goal percentage in head coach Jimmy Elgas' tenure.

All 13 HSU players scored in the 54-point rout, with six scoring in double figures. Cal Poly-Humboldt transfer Malek Davis led all Reddies with his second straight 16-point outing. Ken Lewis followed Davis with 14 points on 4-of-5 shooting, including going 2-for-3 from three-point range. On the season, Lewis has only missed two of his 15 shot attempts through three games.

Zyon Patterson continues to lead the HSU squad with 14.0 points per game while Tomislav Miholjcic is averaging a team-high 6.3 rebounds after securing 12 rebounds against the Scots. Patterson, Lewis (12.3) and Davis (10.7) are joined by redshirt-freshman Courtlon Crow with 10.0 points per game as the four Reddies to currently be averaging in double figures.

Wednesday will be the first ever meeting between Henderson State and Bacone College. Under Elgas, Henderson State is 30-15 in non-conference games. This season, HSU, which has never finished a year worse than 2-4 in non-conference action in that time, is 1-2 in contests outside of the GAC. After Bacone, HSU will face Central Oklahoma and Pittsburg State as part of the High Desert Classic in Las Vegas, Nevada.  

SCOUTING BACONE COLLEGE
After Henderson State defeated Lyon College, 114-60, Bacone College went to the Scots and lost to them, 92-44. All six Bacone players logged more than 30 minutes while the Warriors had two players in double digits with Jaedin Watts and Jaylen Wheeler both scoring 10 points. Watts also added a team-high six rebounds, despite BC being out-rebounded by Lyon, 63-31. In comparison, HSU out-rebounded Lyon, 41-30.
