ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Henderson State will play the unusual Sunday game due to weather in the area earlier in the week when Oklahoma Baptist comes to the Duke Wells Center as the Reddies look for the season sweep of the Bison. Tip-off is set for Sunday, Feb. 5 at 3 p.m.

REDDIES REPORT
Henderson fought tooth and nail Friday evening against No. 20 Southern Nazarene but came up just short in the defensive battle, 58-54. Both teams shot north of 40.0 percent from the field while SNU shot the same percentage from beyond the perimeter compared to HSU's 25.0 percent. The Reddies were able to out-rebound the Crimson Storm, 39-27, in the near upset victory.
Â
Alvin Miles tied his season-high with 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting while also connecting on all four of his free-throws and adding six assists. Kamgain matched Miles at the charity stripe with his own 4-for-4 night while recording 13 points.
Malik Riddle tallied 11 points for his seventh consecutive double-digit outing. Miles (10.2), Kamgain (13.6) and Riddle (10.3) are all averaging over 10 points per game, with
Tomislav Miholjcic (10.3) being the fourth double-figure scorer.
Â
The Reddies continue to operate as one of the premier rebounding teams in the conference, ranking third in combined team rebounds (36.2) and rebounding margin (+4.2). After out-rebounding Southern Nazarene by 12, HSU has won the rebounding battle in six of its last eight games. Henderson has only lost the battle on the boards in five contests this season.
Â
Sunday will be the 21st all-time meeting between Henderson St. and Oklahoma Baptist. The 20th meeting in the series earlier this season showed the Reddies outscoring the Bison 49-39 in the second half after trailing by seven at halftime to capture the win, 75-72. Kamgain led all HSU scorers in Shawnee that day with 17 points, followed by Miholjcic with 16 and Miles with 15. As a team, Henderson shot 50.0 percent (26-52) from the field and 44.4 percent (8-18) from three.

SCOUTING OKLAHOMA BAPTIST
Both programs come into Sunday's contest on a bit of a skid. Whereas the Reddies have lost eight of their last nine, the Bison have dropped five in a row after rattling off four straight wins. Most recently, OKBU lost to Ouachita Baptist across the street, 77-65, as the Tigers avenged their loss to their fellow-Baptist school from earlier in the year.
Â
Two of Oklahoma Baptist's last five losses have come on the road. On the season, OKBU is 4-5 away from the Noble Complex with its last win away from home coming in Russellville at Arkansas Tech on Saturday, Jan. 14, 77-74. Since then, the Bison have allowed 77 or more points in four of their last six outings.
Â
Alcorn State-transfer Paul King still leads the offensive charge for this OKBU group at 16.5 points per game, which is fourth in the GAC. Like HSU, the Bison boast four guys who are averaging 10 or more points per game as UT-Chattanooga-transfer Trey Doomes backs up King with 12.8 points. Three of Oklahoma Baptist's double-digit scorers are shooting better than 50.0 percent from the field, including Doomes (50.3%).
