NORMAN, Okla.  -  On the heels of a Battle for the Belt tournament victory last week, Henderson State's men's golf team has moved up to No. 13 in this week's Bushnell/Golfweek DII Coaches Poll.

The Reddies received 99 votes to move up two spots from their previous ranking.

While no other GAC team appeared in the top 25, Harding (20) and Southern Arkansas (9) both received votes in the national poll.

HSU has placed in the top five in each of its first three tournaments this season. In that same span, the team has also boasted eight top 10 individual finishes. Before winning Battle for the Belt, the Reddies opened their season with a victory at the NSU Men's Golf Classic.

Henderson will close out the fall portion of its schedule at the DBU Classic in Rockwall, Texas, later this month. The tournament is set to tee off on Monday, October 28.
