ROCKWALL, Texas - Henderson State men's golf wrapped the fall portion of its 2024-25 season by tying for third place at the DBU Classic in Rockwall, Texas.
The Reddies went 36-over 900 over the course of the event's three rounds to tie UT Dallas for the third-best team score in the field.
Central Oklahoma, who sits at No. 6 in Scoreboard's Division II national rankings, won the tournament with a score of 14-over 878. UT Tyler took second at 30-over 894. UCO's Jordan Wilson posted the event's top individual performance by going two-under 214, making him the only player amongst 74 competitors to finish under par.
Philipp Pakosch recorded the Reddies' best individual score at eight-over 224, which was tied for 15th. Ethan Wilkins shot nine-over 225 during the two-day event to earn a top 20 spot. Maxime Lam and Ratio Visuttipinate (competing as an independent) both tallied scores of 12-over 228 to crack the top 30 in the event's individual standings.
Following the end of the DBU Classic on Tuesday, Henderson Men's Golf will take a four-month hiatus from tournament play. The Reddies will return to action at the Houston Classic in Houston, Texas, beginning on Monday, February 10.
