ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Reddies look to win keep their home winning streak alive tomorrow versus Hendrix.

The Reddies return to action looking to put together a four-game winning streak for the first time since the 2022-23 season. Led by
Matthew Mayes and
Xavier Owens, HSU is averaging 92 points per game while outscoring opponents by 11 points off of turnovers.

Owens, who did not play Friday's game against Kansas Christian, scored 30 points and grabbed in 13 rebounds versus Champion Christian. Owens frontcourt mate,Â
Nehikhare Igiehon, is averaging 10.5 points per game and six rebounds while shooting nearly 67 percent from the field on 30 attempts.

Several Reddie players have produced coming off of the bench. The team's leading scorer,
Deazhon Perkins, is averaging 14.8 points per game, while Jamarion andÂ
Braydon Redd have contributed eight points per game and seven points per game, respectively.

The Reddies face Division III Hendrix for the 148
th time in the series - a series that Henderson leads 75-72.

Hendrix is 1-5 this season, with their lone victory coming in form of a one-point triumph over East Texas Baptist. Tyler Deithloff scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in the win, with seven of his 11 boards coming on the offensive glass. Deithloff is the team's leading scorer, averaging 13.5 points per game, 6.2 rebounds per game, and 3.8 assists per game.

Head Coach Anthony Boone is in his first season with the Warriors after nine years with Central Arkansas, where he served as head coach since 2020. Boone spent one season with the Phoenix Mercury as an assistant coach.

The Reddies will look to extend their win streak and begin the season 4-1 for the first time since the 2019-20 season.

Jamarion Brown led the team with seven steals and 19 points while shooting 8-of-10 from the field.
