HUMBLE, Texas — Henderson State's men's golf team is in 13th place after one day of competition at the Houston Classic in Humble, Texas.
The Reddies went 35-over 614 over the course of two rounds on Monday. HSU saw a six-stroke improvement as a team between rounds.
No. 6 Central Oklahoma sits in first place after posting a group score of seven-under 569. Harding (two-over 578) and West Texas A&M (five-over 581) are in second and third, respectively.
Philipp Pakosch currently holds Henderson's top individual score at six-over 150. He shot a team-best one-over 73 in the second round. Cooper Williams is close behind at seven-over 151.
HSU will tee off its third and final round of the Houston Classic tomorrow at 8 a.m.
