RUSSELLVILLE, Ark.  —  Henderson State freshman Maxime Lam has been named the latest recipient of the GAC Men's Golfer of the Week Award.

A native of Paris, France, Lam shot 13-over 223 to clinch a share of 10th place in a 100-golfer field at this week's Oak Tree Invitational in Edmond, Oklahoma. He has now finished in the individual top 10 in four of his first five collegiate tournament appearances. Lam's efforts also played a major role in the Reddies' fifth-place finish at the Oak Tree Invitational - the sixth time that the team has finished in the top five at a tournament this season.

Lam is the second member of HSU's men's golf team to receive a weekly award from the conference in 2024-25, joining junior Jacob Knowlton.

Henderson will return to the greens on Monday, Mar. 24, for the Midwestern State Invitational in Wichita Falls, Texas.
