WICHITA FALLS, Tex. — Henderson State shot back-to-back rounds of 7-over 291 on Monday and sits in fourth place at the Midwestern State Invitational.
Three Reddies are inside of the Top-7 individually after two rounds. Jacob Knowlton, who carded scores of 2-under 69 and 2-over 73 is tied for third place alongside Philipp Pakosch, who fired a 4-under 67 in the second round to fly up the leaderboard at the end of day one. Maxime Lam put up a 2-over 73 and an even-par 71 to settle into seventh place.
Knowlton is second in the event with eight birdies through 36 holes. Ethan Wilkins, who is playing as an individual, also had eight birdies on Monday while Pakosch had seven.
Henderson is 14-over as a team and just six shots back of Midland College, who leads the field with a team score of 8-over 576.
The Reddies will look to climb the leaderboard tomorrow when they tee off the final round at the Wichita Falls Country Club at 9:30 a.m.Â
