WICHITA FALLS, Tex. — Henderson State wrapped up play at the Midwestern State Invitational on Tuesday and finished in seventh place out of 14 teams at the event.
The Reddies, who shot 20-over 304 in the final round of play, were the highest finisher among GAC teams. The hosts, Midwestern State, won the event with a 54-hole score of 5-over 857.
Maxime Lam paced Henderson with a 2-over 73 on Tuesday to finish tied for 11th overall. Jacob Knowlton also tied for 11th individually and carded a 4-over 75 in his final round of play.Â
Ethan Wilkins, who played unattached in the event, shot 1-over 72 over his last 18 holes and finished in 15th place. He had a team-high four birdies on Tuesday.
Henderson State will be back in action in two weeks for their final regular season tournament at Washburn's Firekeeper Open on Apr. 7-8 in Mayetta, Kansas.Â
