ST. JOSEPH, Mo. — Henderson State men's golf sits in a tie for seventeenth place after day one of the NCAA Central/Midwest Regional at St. Joseph Country Club in St. Joseph, Missouri.
The 30th ranked Reddies shot a 25-over 306 in the opening round of competition.
No. 8 Central Oklahoma leads the tournament with a 4-under 280. Central Missouri (6-over 290) and Missouri S&T (8-over 292) round out the top three.
Ethan Wilkins and
Philipp Pakosch shot the low rounds of the day for HSU; each player shot 5-over 76.
Jacob Knowlton and
Maxime Lam both carded a 77, while
Alex Hadden turned in a 78.
The Reddies are scheduled to tee off starting at 8:30 Friday morning for round 2 of competition.
