Reddie Golf Ranked in Men's and Women's Initial Region Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The NCAA released its first regional rankings of the 2026 season on Friday, and Henderson State golf is well represented: both the men's and women's teams made an appearance in the Central Region
rankings.

Reddie women's golf was one of 20 teams put under consideration in the initial regional rankings. HSU is coming off of its second tournament victory of the 2025-26 campaign, a seven stroke victory at the Arkansas Collegiate in El Dorado. Senior Paulina Narvaez earned her second GAC Player of the Week honor after taking home individual honors. Henderson hopes to be one of the 18 teams to earn a trip to the Central Region Tournament in St. Joseph, Missouri later this spring.

The Reddie men find themselves in a similar situation as one of just 11 teams under consideration in the region. HSU has one victory under its belt this season, a first-place finish back in September at the Battle for the Belt at Hot Springs Country Club. The team has two tournaments over the next three weeks to increase its resume in hopes of making the Central/Midwest Region Tournament in Big Rapids, Michigan in May.
