Grayson Fairless earned her first Player of the Week honors this week, as announced by the GAC on Monday, based on the the last two games of the regular 2025-26 season.
The Mena, Arkansas native earned a double-double by scoring a career high 37 points on 12 for 16 shooting, while also tying her career high in rebounds with 18, and recording an assist in a 94-88 victory on Thursday against Arkansas Tech on the road. She followed that up with a nine point, eight rebound performance, with two blocks and two steals in a 77-75 upset win against #14 ranked Harding.
The Reddies (17-9, 13-9) are headed to the GAC Championships in Fort Smith, Arkansas as the #4 seed. Henderson State will face #5 seed Southeastern Oklahoma State on Friday, March 6th at Northside Arena. Tip off is scheduled for 5:45 P.M.
