The Henderson State Lady Reddie tennis team lost its final two regular-season matches of the season over the weekend losing to Arkansas Tech and East Central.
Against Arkansas Tech, the Golden Suns won all three doubles points, including its No. 3 team winning by default. HSU only had four players available to play.
In singles play, Arkansas Tech clinched the match by winning at the No. 5 and 6 spots by default. The Golden Suns won three of the four singles matches it played by identical 6-0, 6-0 scores.
Emily Eggleston was the lone Lady Reddie to score with
Maria Aleman beating Eggleston at the No. 3 spot 6-0, 6-2.
The next day Henderson played host to East Central. The Lady Tigers won the swept the doubles. The Lady Reddies again had to forfeit at No. 3 doubles.
Sarah Camras lost a hard fought match to Marta Valles at No. 1 singles, losing 6-4, 6-2.
Eggleston lost at No. 3 singles 6-1 and 6-1 to Eli Dignard, with ECU sweep the remaining singles matches 6-0 and 6-0.
