The Henderson State women's tennis team improved to 2-2 on the season with a 7-2 win over Centenary on Saturday.

The Lady Reddies took a quick 3-0 lead by sweeping all three doubles matches to begin the day.

At No. 1 doubles, Sarah Camras and Brittany Harness made quick work of Madelyn Mull and Holly Clark by beating the duo 8-2.

Tyler Reeves and Jenny Cecotti had little troubles with Katelyn Alexander and Katie Cornwell at No. 2 doubles by recording an 8-4 victory.

Meanwhile, Emily Eggleston and Monica Woodward were locked in a great match with Lauren Beurlot and Rachel Grinnell, but the Henderson pair broke service to record an 8-6 win.  

Cecotti improved to 3-1 on the year in singles play, beating Beurlot 6-0 and 6-0 at No. 2 singles.

Harness made things look easy by beating Corwell 6-2 and 6-0 at No. 3 singles, while Woodward picked up her first singles win of the year beating Clark at No.
5 singles by scores of 6-3 and 6-1.

Eggleston finished the day at No. 6 singles with a 6-0 and 62 win over Grinnell.
