Morgan South's two-out, bases loaded single lifted Henderson State to a 5-4 win over No. 2 Southeastern Oklahoma, Friday at Dee White Field in Arkadelphia, Ark.

The Savage Storm, 20-5 overall and 5-1 in the Great American Conference, rebounded to win the nightcap 5-1.

In the opener, with the score tied at 4-4 in the bottom of the seventh, Henderson came up with some two-out magic.

It all began when Kayla Williams singled followed by Hali Kizer and Katie Gorsage both being hit by Mindy McElroy pitches.

South then delivered the walk-off singled up the middle for the comeback victory.

Southeastern Oklahoma built a 4-0 lead scoring a run in the first-inning and three more in the third with the help of a two-run single by Courtney Moore.

Henderson State scored its first run in the third-inning when Amber Wilburn hit a sacrifice fly to score pinch-runner Allison Waggoner who entered the game for Sarah Gipson who reached earlier in the inning with a single.

In the fourth-inning, the Lady Reddies tied the score by putting together five hits in the frame.

After a Kizer single and a Gorsage double, South singled to left field to plate Kizer.

Shelbie Palmore then reached on an infield single to load the bases for Gipson.
Gipson then walked to force home Gorsage. Laura Mabary, who had three hits in the game, singled to tie the score.

Kayla Williams held the Storm scoreless the remainder of the game to pick up the win and improve to 7-4 on the year.

In the second game, Courtney Riddle broke a 1-1 tie in the third-inning with a grand slam as Southeastern salvaged a spit of Friday's double-header.

The two teams will finish the four-game series with a double-header on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. at Dee White Field.
