Henderson State recorded its first win of the season as the Lady Reddie tennis team beat the University of the Ozarks 7-2, Tuesday in Clarksville, Ark.

Henderson State, 1-5 on the season, opened the match by sweeping all three doubles matches.

Sarah Camras and Brittany Harness had little trouble beating Elly Eibes and Macie Kelley at No. 1 doubles 8-0.

At No. 2 doubles, Sara Griffin and Monica Woodward defeated Mollie Wilkinson and Kalli Simpson, 8-5, while Tyler Reaves and Maddie McJunkins easily downed Whitney Lewis and Kristen Swafford at No. 3 doubles by a score of 8-2.

The Lady Reddies won four of the six singles matches with Sara Griffin starting things with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Whitney Lewis at No. 1 singles.

Sarah Camras moved up and played at No. 2 singles and went on to defeat Elly Eibes 6-3, 6-2.

Playing at No. 3 singles was Brittany Harness who swept Mollie Wilkinson 6-0, 6-0, while Tyler Reaves defeated Kalli Simpson 6-3, 6-2 at No. 4 singles.

Henderson State will next travel to Durant, Okla. on March 1 to take on Southeastern Oklahoma.
