Henderson State could not overcome a stellar second half shooting performance by Southern Nazarene as the Crimson Storm beat the Lady Reddies 95-87, Thursday in Bethany, Okla.

SNU, 9-10 overall and 6-7 in the Great American Conference, converted on 22-of-35 shots from the field for 63 percent shooting in the second half.

The Crimson Storm led by as many as 19 points in the second half, but Henderson State was able to cut the deficit to within 6 points late, but could not get any closer.

In the highest scoring game of the year, five Lady Reddies scored in double-figures led by Aungelique Sledge's 23 points and 9 rebounds.

Tiara Davis followed with 18 points and six rebounds with Jasmine Settles having 12 points.

Also scoring in double-figures was Dulincia Keener with 11 points and Vanessa Pieper having 10 points.

SNU had three players score 20 or more points with Aminata Fall leading the way with 26 points and 20 rebounds.

Henderson State, 12-8 overall and 7-7 in the GAC, returns home next Thursday to face first-place Harding with tip-off set for 5:30 at the Duke Wells Center.
