Henderson State won three singles matches but fell short as the Lady Reddie tennis team lost to Southern Nazarene 5-4, Friday at the Betteye Wallace Tennis Center in Arkadelphia, Ark.
The team of 
Tyler Reaves and 
Maddie McJunkins won at No. 3 doubles beating Becka Stewart and Haley Cantwell by a score of 8-2.
Southern Nazarene, however, posted wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to take a 2-1 lead into the singles matches.
In singles play, McJunkins made quick work of Cantwell posting a 6-0 and 6-0 shutout victory at No. 6 singles.
Reaves recorded a 6-0, 6-2 victory over Stewart at No. 5 singles, while 
Brittany Harness defeated Karina Kotova at No. 4 singles by a score of 4-6, 7-5, and 10-5.
The Crimson Storm swept the 1-3 singles in straight sets, to secure the win.
Henderson State will next face LSU-Shreveport on Sunday in Shreveport, La. beginning at 9 a.m. The Lady Reddies will then travel to Grambling, La. to face Grambling later Sunday afternoon beginning at 2 p.m.
