The Henderson State women's tennis team completed its regular-season with an 8-1 win over Ouachita Baptist, Tuesday at the Bettye Wallace Tennis Center in Arkadelphia, Ark.

The Lady Reddies, 4-12 on the season, began the match by winning all three doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead.

Sara Griffin and Hannah Watson defeated Valeriva Mansvetova and Pelina Tsymalova, 8-3 at No. 1 doubles , while Sarah Camras and Brittany Harness recorded an 8-0 shutout over Camila Ferreira and Mary Wolf at No. 2 doubles.

 Maddie McJunkins and Tyler Reaves completed the sweep with an 8-6 victory over Keely Hawk/Katelyn Barber at No. 3 doubles.

In singles play, Henderson's Sara Griffin had to retire due to injury and OBU cut the deficit to 3-1.

Camras won her first set at No. 3 single 6-2 before Ferreira retired due to injury which gave HSU a 4-1 advantage.

Watson clinched the win for Henderson by making quick work of Tsymalova, 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 singles.

HSU went on to win the final three singles matches with Harness defeating Wolf at No. 4 singles, 6-3, 6-4, and Reaves winning at No. 5 singles over Hawk, 7-6, 6-3.

At No.6 singles, McJunkins outlasted Barber 6-4, 6-4.

Henderson State will next play in the Great American Conference Championship next week in Bentonville, Ark.
