Southern Arkansas used a six-run second-inning to beat Henderson State 8-0 in five innings at the Great American Conference Softball Tournament in Bentonville, Ark.

The Muleriders, 34-23 on the season, belted out 10 hits in the game with Sarah Higginbotham and Courtney Hudgins having two hits each while Maddie Dow hit her 19^th home run of the year.

Henderson State had two hits in the game Kayla Williams and Sarah Gipson both having singles. Gipson extended her hitting streak to 14 games.

Hanna Gill picked up her second win at the tournament. Gill threw five scoreless innings and struck out a season-high eight batters.

Henderson State (29-24) will face East Central in an elimination game on Friday beginning at 1 p.m.
