In Great American Conference action on Thursday, the Henderson State women's basketball team will take on Southern Arkansas in Magnolia, Ark. with tipoff set for 5:30 p.m.
The Reddies enter Thursday's contest against SAU with a 5-1 GAC record, while SAU is 4-2.
HSU averages 74.2 points per game this season, shooting 41 percent from the field and 35 percent from 3-point range.
The Reddies also narrowly lead the rebounding category by 1.3 rebounds per game over opponents this season.
Dulincia Keener leads the team in scoring this season averaging 19.5 points per game, and also averages 9.0 rebounds per contest.
Keener's classmate,
Victoria Stewart, averages 12.9 points per game to go along with 2.8 assists per game.
Haleigh Henson is third in scoring averaging 11.7 points, while
Brittany Branum pitches in 8.5 points per game and is second on the team averaging 5.8 rebounds per game.
HSU's last game was Saturday as the Reddies picked up an 82-64 victory at Northwestern Oklahoma.
Henderson State was led by Keener who had a career-high 45 points, an HSU and GAC record for points in a game.
Keener also pulled down 13 boards, while Stewart pitched in 17 points and dished out seven assists.
The Reddies ended the game shooting 48 percent from the field on 30-of-63 attempts, while limiting NWOSU to 31 percent on 24-of-77 attempts.
HSU also out-rebounded NWOSU 48 to 42.
Southern Arkansas comes in off of a 90-78 road victory at Southern Nazarene on Saturday.
Five Lady Muleriders tallied double-figures in scoring against the Crimson Storm, and were led by senior forward Rosa Bryant's game-high 25 points.
Shana Holmes followed Bryant with 17 points, including three-of-four shooting from three-point range, while Caroline Ficher sank three trifectas to finish with 13 points.
In the last meeting between Henderson State and Southern Arkansas,the Lady Muleriders outscored Henderson 52 to 36 in the paint while shooting 52 percent from the field to come away with an 89-83 victory over the Reddies on February 28, 2015.
Keener finished the contest with 25 points and 7 rebounds, while Henson totaled 12 points including making four 3-point field goals.
The Reddies finished the game shooting 46 percent from the field making 30-of-66 shots from the floor.
Henderson State leads the all-time series record over SAU 55-41-1.
