Henderson State improved to 4-0 on the year as the Reddie women's tennis team beat Texas A&M-Texarkana 9-0, Friday at the Bettye Wallace Tennis Center in Arkadelphia, Ark.

The day began with doubles play as Annie Shannon and Amanda Korinihona defeated Natalie Kaylon and Daejia Lynch 8-2 at No. 1 doubles.

At No. 2 doubles, Sara Griffin and Mariah Bartlett made quick work of Ashleigh Finley and Sarah Williams with an 8-0 shutout victory, while Sydnee Parker and Alexandra Cuello-Morillo blanked Kay Douglas and Whitley Langford at No. 3 doubles 8-0.

Shannon improved her singles record to 4-0 with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Daejia Lynch at No. 1.

Korinihona defeated Kaylon, 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles and Cuello-Morillo beat Sarah Williams 6-0, 6-2 at No. 3 singles.

At No. 4 singles, Parker cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 win over Finley, while Bartlett moved to 4-0 on the year with a 6-2, 6-0 beating of Douglas at No. 5 singles.

Griffin closed out the match at No. 6 singles with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Haley Lofton.

Henderson's Alisha Davis recorded a 6-4, 6-3 win over Diane Wren.
