Henderson State will finish the regular season with a three game home stand beginning Saturday against Harding with tipoff slated for 3 p.m. at the Duke Wells Center.
Harding is second in the GAC in scoring at 80.9 points per game, while Henderson leads the league in scoring defense, allowing only 72.1 points per game.
The Reddies, 6-18 overall and 5-14 in the GAC, are coming off a 78-65 loss to Arkansas Tech on Thursday.
Kaylon Tappin leads the Reddies in scoring averaging 14.0 points per contest and has scored in double-figures in 12 of the last 13 games. Tappin scored a team-best 16 points in the first game against Harding.
Kevin Kozan tied his season-best total of 21 points against Ouachita Baptist on Monday and followed with 10 points against ATU Thursday. The junior from New Lenox, Ill. averages 12.9 points per game and leads the team with 53 three-point field goals.
Tavian Pomlee averages 9.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game after scoring 4 points and grabbing 6 rebounds against the Wonder Boys on Thursday. Pomlee had eight points and four rebounds on Jan. 23 against HU.
Harding enters the game with a 15-9 record overall and a 14-5 mark in league play. The Bisons have won three of their last four games and could clinch a spot in the top three in the GAC Tournament with a victory win on Saturday.
Jacob Gibson leads Harding in scoring in GAC games with 17.4 points per game. Gibson has made 57 3-pointers and is shooting 41.0 percent from 3-point range against GAC teams.
Will Francis follows averaging 13.5 points per game including shooting 45 percent from 3-point range.
Reggie Anthony has scored 10 or more points in nine consecutive games and had 19 against Southern Arkansas. During those games, Anthony has averaged 15.7 points and shot 59 percent overall and 44 percent from 3-point range.
Henderson State leads the all-time series with Harding having a 73-44 advantage in a series which dates back to 1957. Harding has won the last four games between the two teams, including a 76-54 victory on Jan. 23 in Searcy.
Saturday's double-header will be carried on 106.9 FM KYXK Arkadelphia/Gurdon with R.J. Hawk (@RJHawk) providing the play-by-play. Former Reddie player and coach Grady Bean will join Hawk for the men's game and provide the color commentary.
The Domino's pregame show will air 12:45 p.m. with the women's game set for 1 p.m. p.m.
