The Henderson State women's team went on the road and came away with a 5-4 win over Harding, Thursday in Searcy, Ark.
The Reddies won two doubles matches and three singles matches to improve to 8-6 overall and 1-1 in league play.
Henderson took a 1-0 lead with an 8-3 victory at No. 1 doubles. The Reddie combination of 
Amanda Korinihona and 
Annie Shannon improved to 11-2 in beating Piper Huey and Laura Golubic.
At No. 2 doubles, 
Sara Griffin and 
Mariah Bartlett recorded a 9-7 victory over Arielle Butler and Emily Faulkner to give Henderson a 2-1 advantage entering singles play.
Annie Shannon improved to 10-1 at No. 1 singles with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Piper Huey, while Alexandria Cuella recorded a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Brittany Smyser at No. 4 singles.
 
The decisive match was at No. 3 singles as 
Sydnee Parker outlasted Gabriella Alves 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 to clinch the match for the Reddies.
 
Henderson will next play host to Ouachita Baptist on Friday at the Bettye Wallace Tennis Center with the first serve set for 2 p.m.
