ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — After seeing its program-record seven game Great American Conference winning streak snapped by Southern Arkansas on Saturday, the Henderson State women's basketball team will look to rebound on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. when it crosses the street to face Ouachita Baptist in the Battle of the Ravine.

Last Time Out
- Southern Arkansas jumped on Henderson State from the opening tip on Saturday afternoon and never looked back, as the Lady Muleriders defeated the Reddies 78-63 at the Duke Wells Center to snap Henderson's seven-game Great American Conference winning streak. The Lady Muleriders jumped out to a 20-point advantage after one period behind 24 first quarter-points from guard Sue Key, and although the Reddies fought - at one point cutting the lead down to 13 points - they never got the game back within single digits, as SAU cruised to the win. The loss dropped the Reddies to 11-5 overall and 7-3 in GAC action.

- Haleigh Henson led Henderson with 19 points and hit three 3-pointers, while Pink Jones added 11 despite playing just 16 minutes after being saddled with first half foul trouble. Hailey Estes came up one point short of her fifth double-double in six games, finishing with nine points and 11 rebounds.

Reddies Report
- Despite taking a hit in their defensive numbers in Saturday's loss, the Reddies remain tops in the GAC in scoring defense (64.7 points per game) and 3-point field goal defense (25.1 percent). Henderson is currently second in field goal percentage (42.5 percent) and third in field goal percentage defense (37.8 percent).

- Pink Jones is one of four players in the conference averaging over 16 points per game. Jones averages 16.1 and is fourth in the GAC in scoring, ninth in assists per game (3.3) and 11th in field goal percentage (47 percent). She has scored in double figures in the last 12 games and in 14 of the 15 games she has played in this season.

- Hailey Estes is now the GAC leader in rebounding with an average of 9.3 boards per contest, which includes a league-high 7.3 defensive rebounds per game. Estes has grabbed double digit rebounds in the past six games for the Reddies and in nine games total this year while also scoring 11.1 points per game and hitting 32 3-pointers.

- Haleigh Henson is second in the conference in 3-point makes this season (46) but is No. 1 in 3-pointers per game (2.9). Her 258 career 3-point field goals ranks third all-time in GAC history and she is just 11 makes away from breaking the record of 268 held by Arkansas Tech's Anissa Pounds. Henson has hit four or more 3-pointers in six of the last seven games for Henderson and is averaging 13.9 points per game, 11th best in the league.

Scouting Ouachita Baptist
- Ouachita Baptist enters Tuesday night's contest 9-7 overall and 5-5 in GAC play. They are led by head coach Garry Crowder, a graduate of Henderson, who has led the Lady Tigers to a program-record 341 wins in 23 seasons.

- The Lady Tigers do not have any players averaging double figure scoring, but are led by sophomore Chasidee Owens, who averages 9.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Senior Morgan Miller is the third-best 3-point shooter in the GAC percentage-wise and is hitting 46 percent of her attempts from beyond the arc. Fellow senior Kori Bullard is sixth in the conference in blocked shots and averages 1.4 blocks per game.

- OBU is near the bottom of the league in scoring offense (66.4 points per game/10th in the GAC), but are second behind the Reddies in scoring defense (69 points per game). The Lady Tigers struggle greatly at the free throw line and with turnovers. OBU is last in the league in free throw percentage (61.7 percent) and second-to-last in the GAC in turnover margin (-2.6).

Last Season vs. Ouachita Baptist
- The Reddies and Lady Tigers split the Battle of the Ravine series last season, with Henderson taking the first game at OBU 75-74 and Ouachita taking the second game in the Duke Wells Center 77-58. HSU has won five of the last six meetings.

- In the first meeting, Henderson State got a game-high 23 points from Pink Jones and a career-high 20 from Torrie Thompson, including a game-winning jumper in the lane with nine seconds remaining, to defeat OBU 75-74 on the road. With 25 seconds left and OBU in possession, the Lady Tigers were called for over-and-back on the inbound, giving the ball back to the Reddies with 22 seconds left. On the ensuing possession, Thompson knocked down a 12-footer that rolled in off the back of the rim to give Henderson a 75-74 lead with nine seconds on the clock. The Lady Tigers quickly tried to inbound the ball, but Jones turned on the jets, chased down the ball-handler from behind, knocked the ball away, and a swarm of Reddies jumped on it with 0.3 seconds remaining to earn a jump ball call in Henderson's favor and effectively end the game.

- The second game did not go in the Reddies' favor, as OBU shot 50 percent from the field and held Henderson to just 28 percent shooting to win it 77-58 and snap a five-game losing streak to HSU. Hailey Estes led the Reddies with 16 points, while Brittany Branum chipped in 12. Henderson had a 12-point lead in the first half, but OBU used a 10-3 run before the break to trim the deficit, then out-scored the Reddies 25-14 in the third quarter to take control.
