ARKADELPHIA, Ark. -- Henderson State aims to rebound from its first Great American Conference loss of the season on Tuesday when the Reddies face Southeastern Oklahoma State at 12 p.m. in Durant, Oklahoma.
REDDIES REPORT
- After a 3-0 start to conference play, Henderson (7-2, 3-1) dropped its first GAC game of the year on Saturday to Arkansas-Monticello, 79-70. The Reddies and Blossoms were tied 55-55 entering the fourth quarter, but HSU was out-scored 24-15 in the final period.
- The Reddies swept Southeastern Oklahoma State last season, defeating the Savage Storm 56-49 in Durant, Oklahoma and 79-70 in Arkadelphia.
Pink Jones had a career-high 37 points in the home victory over SOSU.

Pink Jones and
Hailey Estes both rank in the Top-10 in the GAC in scoring. Jones averages 16.6 points per game, which is sixth in the league, while Estes averages 15.7, which is ninth. Estes leads the conference in rebounding (8.8 per game) and Pink is third in the GAC in assists per game (3.7).
Blu Jones has also played very well for the Reddies in the past two games. She scored 18 points against both Harding and UAM.
- As a team, HSU is fifth in the GAC in scoring offense (71.8 points per game) and fourth in scoring defense, holding opponents to just 65 points per contest. The Reddies have locked down their opponents from beyond the 3-point line and are No. 7 in the nation in 3-point field goal percentage defense, allowing opponents to shoot just 22.2 percent from beyond the arc.
- Saturday is the 20th meeting all-time between Henderson State and Southeastern Oklahoma State. The Savage Storm lead the series 10-9 and won the first-ever meeting between the schools 61-59 in 1984-85.
SCOUTING SOUTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA
- Southeastern Oklahoma comes into Saturday's matchup 5-3 on the year and 3-1 in GAC play. The Savage Storm have won their last three games in a row and four of their last five overall. They defeated Ecclesia College on Saturday 133-37.
- Junior Katie Webb, who missed almost all of last season due to injury, is the catalyst for SOSU and leads the GAC in scoring with an average of 20.5 points per game. Webb is fourth in the conference in rebounding as well (7.9 rebounds per game). She is shooting 58.3 percent from the field.Â
- The Savage Storm have the No. 2 scoring offense in the conference through four league games (72.8 points per game) and are the best 3-point shooting team in the GAC thus far, as they hit on 39.4 percent of their attempts from outside. Southeastern has hit more 3-pointers than any other team in the league against GAC foes (39).
