ARKADELPHIA, Ark. -- Henderson State will look to pick up its 10th win of the season on Thursday night when the Reddies travel to Shawnee, Oklahoma, to face Oklahoma Baptist at 5:30 p.m.
REDDIES REPORT
- Four different players scored in double figures on Saturday, including three with 15 points each, to help Henderson (9-2, 4-1) get past Midwestern State 76-69 in the Reddies' final non-conference game of the season at the Duke Wells Center. The win improved HSU to 9-2 this year which matches its best start since 2006-07 when it began 11-0.

Pink Jones,
Blu Jones, and
Brittany Branum all scored 15 points apiece in the win, while
Hailey Estes had 12 with 10 rebounds and six assists.
Pink Jones is sixth in the GAC in scoring (17.4 points per game) and third in assists (3.8 per game), while Estes in 10th in scoring (14.9 points per game) and third in rebounding (8.8).
Blu Jones also averages double figures for HSU in scoring (11.5 points per game).
- As a team, the Reddies rank third in the conference in scoring offense (76.2 points per game) and have made 38 3-pointers in league games -- the second most of any team in the GAC so far this season.
- Thursday's contest is the seventh meeting all-time between Henderson State and Oklahoma Baptist. The Reddies lead the series 4-2 and took both games from the Lady Bison last year, winning 85-61 in Arkadelphia and 77-71 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
- This weekend marks Henderson's first GAC Oklahoma double-header of the season. Since dropping their first two GAC games on the road last year to NWOSU and SWOSU, the Reddies have won five-consecutive conference road games in the state of Oklahoma. HSU faces Southern Nazarene in Bethany, Oklahoma, on Saturday at 1 p.m.
SCOUTING OKLAHOMA BAPTIST
- Oklahoma Baptist enters Thursday night's game 5-5 on the year but just 1-3 in conference play. The Lady Bison are led by head coach Casi Bays, who is in her seventh season on Bison Hill.
- The Lady Bison are led on the court by senior guard Autumn Avina. Avina is fourth in the GAC in scoring (18.7 points per game) and leads the league in both assists (8.6 per game) and steals (4.1 per game). She is shooting 54.5 percent from the field this season. Junior forward Victoria Blankenship is the main post option for OKBU and averages 13.5 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.
- As a team, OKBU is fourth in the GAC in scoring offense (72.8 points per game) and third in field goal percentage (42.9 percent). The Lady Bison have struggled defensively, however, and are last in scoring defense against GAC opponents, allowing 78.5 points per game.
