ARKADELPHIA, Ark. -- Following a split last weekend in Oklahoma, Henderson State returns home Thursday night to host Northwestern Oklahoma State at 5:30 p.m. in the Duke Wells Center.
REDDIES REPORT
- Henderson (10-3, 5-2) has played very well in conference games so far this season. The Reddies lead the GAC in field goal percentage (43.3 percent) and are second in the league in scoring offense (77.3 points per game) and in 3-point percentage defense, where they hold opponents to just 28 percent shooting from beyond the arc.
- The Reddies have been red-hot from the 3-point line over their last three conference contests. HSU has hit 28 of its 60 3-point attempts in its last three GAC games (47 percent).

Karrington Whaley was nearly perfect from the field during last weekend's road trip to Oklahoma. Whaley was 12-for-13 from the field over the course of two games. She leads the GAC in field goal percentage (64.4 percent) so far this year and is second in blocks per game (1.7).

Blu Jones has scored 14 or more points in seven straight games for Henderson. Jones averages 12.2 points per game and is 7-for-12 from the 3-point line in her last three contests.

Pink Jones has scored 1056 points in her career at HSU and needs just 25 to pass Saprina Reed for 8th all-time at the school. Jones is third in the GAC in scoring in league games (17 points per game) and fourth in assists (4.3 per game).

Hailey Estes has done a little bit of everything for the Reddies this season and is ninth in the league in scoring (15 points per game), third in rebounding (8.8 per game), and leads the GAC in 3-pointers made with 30.
SCOUTING NWOSU
- NWOSU enters Thursday's contest 5-8 this season and 2-4 in GAC play. The Lady Rangers are led by Tasha Diesselhorst, who is in her third season in Alva, Oklahoma. NWOSU has lost three of its last four conference games.
- Junior guard Kalea King leads the Lady Rangers in scoring (15.2 points per game) and sophomore forward Bailey Brown averages 14.3 points per game on 52.6 percent shooting, which ranks fifth in the GAC. Brown also shoots 88.9 percent from the free throw line which is fifth-best among all players in the league.
- NWOSU is best known for its attacking style of defense, which has helped the Lady Rangers lead the conference in steals this season (12 per game). They are also a very strong shooting team from the 3-point line, where they are hitting on 35.2 percent of their attempts this year, second-best in the GAC.
