ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Henderson State put together a dominant effort on Sunday morning to sweep past Texas A&M-Texarkana 7-0 at the Bettye Wallace Tennis Center.
The Reddies set the tone early with an easy one, two, three sweep in doubles play to go in front 1-0. HSU's three doubles teams dropped just one game combined on their way to three wins.
Up 1-0, the dominance continued in individual play. Henderson won every singles match in straight sets against the Eagles and no Reddie player dropped more than a single game on the day.
The match victory improves HSU to 3-2 on the season. The Reddies play again on Thursday, Feb. 20 when they host North Central Texas College at 1 p.m.
