ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Henderson State won four singles matches in straight sets and swept doubles play to defeat Delta State 5-2 on Friday at the Ward Tennis Center.
Mulan Kamoe won her fifth-straight contest at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-1. Kamoe is 6-1 in individual play this season. Georjemah Row, Franny Nyarko and Lauren Miller also claimed wins at No. 2, No. 3 and No. 6 singles. Miller and Nyarko are both 3-0 in singles play this week, while Row is 2-0.
HSU swept all three doubles contests for the second-straight match. Kamoe and Nyarko improved to 6-1 as a team at No. 1, Row and Teally won their fourth match together, and Miller and Bailey stayed unbeaten at 3-0.
The Reddies return to action tomorrow at 6 p.m. when they take on Angelo State in Arkadelphia.
