Reddie Women Seek Season Sweep of SOSU Thursday

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Henderson State will look to carry the momentum from its Senior Day victory into the final week of the regular season when it visits Southeastern Oklahoma State on Thursday at 5:35 p.m.

REDDIES REPORT
- Henderson State (18-8, 13-7) is currently tied for fourth-place with Arkansas Tech in the GAC standings with two regular season games left. The Reddies are two games back of Harding (15-5), and one game behind Southwestern Oklahoma State (14-6) as well as their Thursday foe, Southeastern Oklahoma State (14-6).

-  The Reddies put the game away early on Saturday when they hit five 3-pointers against Northwestern Oklahoma State in the first quarter and then out-scored the Lady Rangers 21-9 in the second quarter to lead 47-29 at the break. HSU ran away for a 81-62 win which knocked NWOSU out of GAC Tournament contention.

- Maci Mains had one of her most efficient games as a Reddie, as she poured in 19 points on 7-for-11 shooting in just 24 minutes. Mains also knocked down four of her seven 3-point attempts and is 10-for-20 behind the arc in her last four games.

- Lani Snowden also went 4-of-7 from long distance in the win against NWOSU and is shooting 46.2% from downtown on the season. The Reddies will face the only player in the GAC with a better 3-point shooting percentage on Thursday in Southeastern's Briley Moon, who is hitting 48.1% of her 3-point shots.

- Despite Southeastern Oklahoma State ranking as one of the top teams in the GAC over the last few seasons, HSU has had their number in recent years. The Reddies have won five-straight contests against the Savage Storm including a 77-72 victory in the first meeting of the season on Jan. 25. When SOSU was in sole possession of first place in the league.

HENDERSON STATE MILESTONE WATCH
- Pink Jones needs 20 points to pass Kathy Comeaux for second on HSU's all-time scoring list.

- Hailey Estes needs 14 points to become the fourth player in HSU history to score 1,400 points in a career.

- Lani Snowden needs four 3-point field goals to pass Mandy Hill for seventh on Henderson's 3-point field goal list.

SCOUTING SOUTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA
- A month ago, Southeastern Oklahoma State (17-7, 14-6) had a clear path to a conference championship as they led the league with a 10-1 record. Unfortunately for the Savage Storm, the second half of the season has not been as kind. Southeastern is just 4-5 over their last nine games and will need Harding to lose at least one of their final two games if they want to share the GAC crown.

- The Savage Storm are led by one of the front runners for GAC Player of the Year in senior Katie Webb. Webb leads the conference in scoring at 18.3 points per game while also ranking sixth in the league in both rebounds (7.5 per game) and field goal percentage (49.4%).

- In the first meeting between the Reddies and the Savage Storm, Webb scored 31 points on 13-of-26 shooting while grabbing 11 rebounds. Although Webb filled up the stat sheet, the Reddies limited the rest of her teammates to a combined 10-of-37 shooting from the floor as HSU prevailed, 77-72.

- In that victory, the Reddies did an excellent job of limiting Southeastern's 3-point shooting ability. The Savage Storm are the most accurate team in the league from behind the arc at 37.8%, but shot just 2-for-14 from long distance in the first meeting.
