HOT SPRINGS, Arkansas – Windy conditions plagued Henderson State on Monday as it closed out the NCAA Central Region Preview with an uncharacteristic eighth place finish after shooting 23-over 311 for a total event score of 33-over 609.

On the day,
Daphney Tilton paced the Reddie golfers with a 4-over 76 to finish with an 11-over 155 for a tie for 36th, moving up 11 spots from where the sophomore ended after the first 18 holes.

Allie Bianchi led the way for HSU when it was all said and done, carding a two-round score of 6-over 150 for a tie for 15th.
Hannah Choi came up just behind her with a 7-over 151, coming in at a tie for 18th.

Gracen Blount posted a 9-over 153 through the 36 holes, tying for 28th. Tilton and
Karen Lee finished out the Reddies with two-round scores of 11-over 155 and 18-over 162 for 36th and 65th, respectively.

Henderson State will look to regroup before its final tournament of the fall season in Tulsa, Oklahoma, when the Tulsa Cup hosted by Rogers State gets underway Oct. 25 and 26th.
