Box Score 2 BETHANY, Okla. – Henderson State (1-4, 0-3) saw an early lead to start off the day's doubleheader, but Southern Nazarene was able to use its 11 hits in each contest to start 3-0 in conference play.
Abbie Moore had three hits through the two games to lead all HSU batters, along with one run.
Addie Jordan, in her season-debut, tallied two RBIs plus one home run in the day's opening game.

GAME ONE
The Reddie used two runs in the top of the third to gain a 2-1 lead over the host-Crimson Storm with
Abbie Moore and
Czoey White scoring off of Addi Jordan and
Ashlyn Taylor RBIs, respectively. SNU responded to that with two runs of its own in the bottom of the inning to retake a one-point advantage, 3-2.
Â
Jordan's second at-bat yielded her only hit on the day in the top of the fifth when the freshman from Conway, Arkansas sent one over the left field wall for a solo home run, tying the game at three apiece. The score would remain that way until Southern Nazarene came to the plate in the bottom of the sixth in what would be its final at-bat.
Â
The Crimson Storm broke the game open, piling on five runs in the bottom of the sixth on six hits, capitalized with a two-run double from SNU's Sydney Everhart to make what would eventually be the final score, 8-3.
Â
GAME TWO
Alyssa Dixon was responsible for one double on her two at-bats for the Reddies and that, outside of a couple walks, was all SNU's pitching allowed as Southern Nazarene got all over HSU in a hurry. With three runs in the first, five in the second and two in the third, the game was called after HSU's at-bat in the top of the fourth, 10-0.
