ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – For the second time in five days, the Henderson State Reddies (1-5) and the Southern Arkansas Muleriders (2-4) will square off on the hardwood, this time inside HSU's Duke Wells Center at 2 p.m. This matchup will mark the third time the two teams have played each other this season with each program seeing one win a piece in the previous contests.

REDDIES REPORT
- In Henderson State's season opener against the Muleriders, junior Maci Mains saw her career high 35 points, helping the Reddies open the year on a win, 93-84. Tamia Templeton also saw her then-career high with 14 points while pulling down seven rebounds.

- It has not been as easy going for Henderson since its opening win, having lost five in a row since the 1-0 start. Covid-19 has not done HSU any favors, however, as due to the cancellation of games, the Reddies' six games have simply been a rotation of three of the top four teams currently atop the Eastern Division in Arkansas Tech, Harding, and Southern Arkansas. Those three teams have a combined overall record of 13-6.

- After giving up 98 points for the second time this season in its last outing, Henderson State ranks 12th among GAC teams in scoring defense, allowing an average of 88.3 points per game to opposing teams. HSU does pride themselves, however, on solid rim-protection. With the help of Karrington Whaley's 2.5 blocks per game, HSU is currently fifth in the league with 3.2 blocks per game as a team.

- Offense has not been the issue as much as HSU finds itself fifth in the conference in scoring offense (75.5 ppg) with Ashley Farrar second in the league in scoring (16.6 ppg). The Reddies sit among the top-3 in 3-point field goal percentage at 34.8% and assists at 15.2 per game.

SCOUTING SOUTHERN ARKANSAS
- Southern Arkansas utilized four girls who scored in double figures to beat HSU in the last meeting, 69-53. Jessica Jones led the way with 13 points while Kylie Warren went 9-of-10 at the free throw line while adding one field goal to give the Muleriders an additional 12 points and 10 boards.

- This will be SAU's first road game it has played since Jan. 14. The Muleriders are 0-2 on the road compared to 2-2 at home this season. Despite averaging 89 points in its road games, Southern Arkansas is giving up 104 points per road contest on the defensive side of things. On the season, SAU is 4th in scoring offense (79.0 ppg) and 11th in scoring defense (82.7 ppg).

- The tandem of Diamond Morris and Kisi Young leads the Muleriders with Morris leading the way in scoring with 12.2 ppg while Young controls the glass with 6.2 rebounds per game. Both Morris and Young are averaging 2.2 assists per game to lead Southern Arkansas.
